Senior Digital Sales Executive x 2 (JHB and CT)

Digital Business and Development Manager

To manage all digital sales activities and advertising revenue by bringing new business and grow revenue.
• Sell advertising space against set targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Source new clients and sponsorship opportunities talking back to company strategies
• Develop and deliver a clear and measurable sales strategy across all digital platforms
• Ensure that all digital advertising revenue streams are maximized
• Achieve targeted revenue and yields from digital, maximizing the revenue generated from existing agency’s as well as developing new business
• Explore and present new partnerships and revenue streams
• Work with the advertising digital team to maximize revenue and create compelling digital sales stories to take to the market and pitch
• Maintain contact with clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and needs
• Set and achieve digital sales targets and evaluate them on regular basis
• Strive to maintain maximum profit margin
• Maintain accurate records of all digital sales and activity reports

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 5 years online agency and advertising sales experience needed
• Minimum of 2 years in a traditional advertising experience will be an advantage
•Relationships with advertising and digital agencies an advantage
• Proven track record and an active client database and industry networks
• Digital marketing certificate will be an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and have own car

• Have good knowledge of digital sales
• Have good understanding of economic and in industry trends and the interpretation thereof
• Legislation related to the media industry
• Thorough understanding of global business drivers and trends
• Strong analytical ability towards opportunity identification and closing large deals
• Clear understanding of the industry dynamics locally and globally
• Knowledge of the company products and services, its abilities and business strategies or the ability to master it within a limited period of time
• A thorough understanding of structured digital sales methodology
